POLICIES AND PROCEDURES

Please affix current identification tags to your pet’s collar and have a leash (harness if necessary) available.

Maintain current vaccinations for your pet depending on the type of animal :

Dogs: rabies, parvovirus (corona virus)

Cats : rabies, panleukopenia

Please make “emergency” arrangements with your vet for times you are away (such as account information, etc.) Provide any pertinent information during our consultation or leave for first day of service.

Buy extra pet supplies in case you’re away longer than you’ve planned (It happens!)

If you like, leaving a key with a trustworthy neighbor as a backup may be a good idea: you can also give him Pawsitive Personal Pet Care’s number (831) 251-8518.

Keys: Client’s duplicate keys are coded and kept in a non-mobile, locked key repository. I charge a small flat fee for key pick-up (excluding complimentary consultation) and another for key return. Clients have the choice of leaving their key on file or having their key returned after service.

Extra services, such as bathing pets, outdoor plant watering, major indoor plant watering, extra medical treatments, etc. can be done for a nominal fee and are discussed during the consultation and included in the service agreement.

Generally, a consultation fee of $20.00 will be charged if work is canceled after the service agreement is signed and work is scheduled. Also, a consultation fee is assessed when only one visit is scheduled. These fees, however, may be credited to future service arrangements.

An additional 25% is added to pet care rates on the following holidays: New Year’s Eve and Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Friday, Christmas Eve and Day.

Lastly! Pawsitive Personal Pet Care welcomes any feedback on services provided and will address any concerns promptly.
