Opened in 2004, Pawsitive Personal Pet Care is a loving and reliable Professional Pet Sitting service that provides special care to a wide variety of animal companions, including dogs, exotics and special-needs pets. We have decided recently to further address the needs of our FELINE companions and multi-pet families.
We have reasonable prices and the longest visits. You can enjoy peace of mind because pet care in your home (by a professional pet sitter) is the most economical and safe way to look after your pets and home. Our primary service area is in mid-county and includes the following areas of Santa Cruz County: Santa Cruz, Live Oak, Capitola, Soquel and Seabright. Our secondary service area includes visits to Aptos, La Selva Beach, West Santa Cruz, Pasatiempo, Happy Valley and Scotts Valley. and you may pay a little more for time and gas if you live in the secondary service area. This is subject to change depending on traffic conditions.
My background as owner of Pawsitive Personal Pet Care includes education and work in the sciences and related fields. UCSC biology taught me a lot about how the natural world works and I am certified by NAPPS in animal health and behavior. I encourage this for anyone who works for me.
The NAPPS “Pledge of Professional Code of Conduct” standards are followed closely. Please call, text or email for more information. If needed in emergencies, I have a bonded pet sitter assist me. We work hard to understand each unique situation and follow any instructions provided to us concerning your pets and home. Feedback on my service is always welcomed. We usually take photographs of your animal companions for our files and to capture their beauty which we sometimes display here. Besides beautiful animals, I have met many wonderful owners along the way too!
